North
Observatory : youboudai (back)
Because people can see the Yougunbaru (the hill where
people compare the natural limestone rocks as the back of sheep)
from
here, that's why this observation platform is named Youboudai,
meaning the landscape with sheep's back). What visitors can
see from here are not only a grand view of Hiraodai, but also
observation of the wild bird passage. |

Wild
Glass Garden (back)
These wild grasses were growing before the park was constructed,
and they were transplanted to this wild grass garden for viewing
purposes. This allows people to learn about the nature of Hiraodai
plants. |

Doline
Deck (back)
The limestone has been melted by rain and ground water. This
erosion crates cone shaped holes in this ground, which are called
Doline. Doline is a geographical characteristic of the Karstic
grounds. The visitor can see it from Doline Deck. That is formed
from three caves, and the biggest one has about 30 metes
in its depth. |
